I was feeling a lot of emotions when I made this piece, most were negative. So I picked up a pallet knife and used the paint to express what I was feeling. I feel a lot of things when I look at this piece, but it is still one of my favorites. It represents a part of me that is difficult to share with the world. The ugly, angry and vulnerable parts that I try so hard to hide, and yet there’s a beauty to it.
